Child abuse and neglect is a blight on our society. As long as we stand by and do nothing to help prevent it, it will not only continue, but continue to get worse. If you suspect a child is being abused or neglected, please contact the appropriate agency in your state. Many states allow anonymous reporting, and a good-faith report is never the WRONG thing to do–you just might save the life of a child.
